Depending on a range of factors (purpose of the building, soil type, weather conditions), prefabricated buildings are mounted on the following types of foundations:

• Pile foundation. It consists of monolithic reinforced concrete pointed piles with a rectangular cross-section, which are driven or embedded below the frost line. For industrial construction, this type of foundation is laid at the project stage for soils of any bearing capacity;
• Columnar foundation. It consists of a supporting cushion with one or several steps and a column that supports the structure’s pillar. This type of foundation is used for industrial buildings on soils with a certain bearing capacity and without surface water;
• Strip reinforced concrete foundation. In this case, the columns of the prefabricated structure rest on a reinforced concrete slab. Such a foundation can only be used for certain types of buildings and soils.

Types of frames:

• Buildings with multiple aisles. In this case, the frame width can be quite large. Compared to the previous type, it is cheaper but limits free space;
• Single-pitch buildings. A distinguishing feature is a roof with one slope. The roof structure is a single inclined plane, allowing the building to be attached to existing buildings;
• Buildings with intermediate floors. This type is chosen by clients who want to combine production workshops and administrative offices in one place. Metal consumption increases in such buildings, but the building footprint decreases;
